1. Panga — The movie depicts the comeback of a kabaddi player after a break of few years. It shows a supportive family and encouraging friends. It was difficult at first — the changes, staying away from her family, the lack of confidence and questioning individuals. Braving all that got her to where she wanted; following your passion may sometimes be difficult but with the support of Shevolve/the right mentors, it would certainly be possible.

Comeback is difficult, but not impossible — especially with the right support.

2. Mission Mangal — The movie depicts different women and the common thing among them is their passion and ability to give their 100% without feeling guilty. Remember when Vidya Balan’s husband tried to make her feel guilty? This happens to a lot of women. But feeling secure not only as a professional but also as a mother helped her to confidently tell him that I know my children and I love my job. You can excel at both and have a happy work-life balance. It is not unfeasible.

Don’t let anyone make you feel guilty about doing your job or following your passion.

3. Tumhari Sulu — A homemaker turned successful RJ. Seems improbable, but definitely inspiring and possible — that too braving the opposition of her family. Sometimes all the support you need is your confidence and your commitment to your career.

You can have a fresh start and follow your passion — no matter your age.

4. Gunjan Saxena — This is one movie with a great father

The character supports and encourages his daughter to do what no other woman did. Stood with her against society and his wife & son, to make her dreams come true. Even when she was on the verge of giving up, instead of letting her let go of her dreams, he motivated her to follow her passion. More women need men like that in our lives.

We need to have faith in our women and support their dreams; they’ll be the ones to save the day someday.

5. Bobby Jasoos — The story of an ordinary woman with an ordinary background. Everything about her is normal — except for her passion for her career. When the world around her thinks that she is wasting time playing an amateur detective, she doesn’t lose hope. She remains fiercely confident and independent. She convinces her narrow-minded father by explaining to him the difference that she made.

Follow your passion, those who don’t understand you today will do so tomorrow.

6. Razzi — This is a real-life incident where the father trusted his daughter enough to make her a spy. He was not hesitant about sending his only daughter to defend in his nation in a time of crisis. He cared about her but also was confident in her abilities to get the information necessary for their country.

Women only look weak but are not. We have the strength to bring a nation down if we set our mind to it.
